This is a custom-tailored version of Windows Phone, which has been especially optimized to run on devices with less than 384MB of RAM. The Lumia 610 is powered by an 800 MHz single core processor and only 256MB of RAM. This is the main reason some Windows Phone apps won’t be fully supported by Lumia 610.Several weeks ago the Finnish company announced that Skype is fully supported by Lumia 610, but later tests proved the application is unusable on this smartphone due to the low amount of RAM.
Nokia Lumia 610 does not stand out from other Windows Phone devices when it comes to hardware configuration. The smartphone sports a 5-megapixel camera on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and video recording.The phone also sports a decent 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and only 65k colors. Last but not least, Nokia Lumia 610 packs 8GB of internal memory.
