Google is not slowing down with Google+, it's got plenty of registered users though usage may be another matter. Still it wants more and it's now making it possible for more people to use the site even if they don't have an internet connection, via SMS, the same way Twitter does.
SMS commands are now available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Hebrew, Swahili, Indonesian, and Thai.
Google has enabled users in 43 countries to post to Google+, receive notifications and reply to them all via SMS. It's targeting the developing world with this feature where more people have phones than computers and where internet connections are hard to come by and slow.
The feature is easy to use, just send a message to the Google+ number in your country with your message. You'll get notifications via SMS as well and you'll be able to reply to them inline. A full list of supported countries and carriers is availablehere.
