The first official Android 4.0 ICS ROM for HTC Rezound leaked about a month ago, but the update has yet to be pushed onto devices.Although HTC and Verizon did not offer any information on the exact availability of the update, it looks like new details have just emerged online.
A Reddit user, claiming to work for the Big Red, has just posted a screenshot from Verizon’s systems that confirmed HTC Rezound would receive the long-anticipated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update on May 9.The update is 297MB in size and will be pushed OTA (over the air) by Verizon Wireless, next month. Furthermore, the document mentions that soak test has already begun on April 16 and runs through May 7. Stay tuned for more updates on the subject.
