Micromax A80 Infinity Goes sale for Rs 8,490

Micromax A80 Infinity is ready to go to sale in just for Rs 8490. Its main feature is that dual sim capability and it supports ginger bread.

Beside the affordable price, Micromax A80 Infinity comes with a high-capacity 2050 mAh Li-Ion battery, with more standby and talk time hours than most Android phones in its price range category. Micromax claims the phone’s battery should provide users with up to 288 hours of standby time or up to 7 hours of talk time.

The smartphone comes with an unusual 3.75-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution and 262k colors. With Micromax A80 Infinity, the Indian company plans to target customers who are mostly complaining of running out of battery juice due to heavy usage. Keep in mind that the A80 Infinity is powered by Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread operating system and there are little chances that the device will get an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in the future.

On the inside, the smartphone packs an 800 MHz single core processor and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), but there are no details on the amount of storage for the moment. There’s also a 5-megpaixel rear camera with LED flash, and a secondary VGA front-facing camera for self-portraits and video calls. Dual-SIM capability is included as well, along with 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity. Software-wise, Micromax A80 Infinity comes packed with voice recognition tool AISHA, which enables users to update social networking sites, check out phone status, control various functions of the smartphone, find locations, or even make language translations and view recipes. The A80 infinity also features lots of other pre-loaded apps, including Mibuddy, Mstore, Whatsapp. Access to more than 600,000 apps and games is provided as well via Google Play store.

Nokia Software Updates For Nokia Lumia 900, 710 and 610

Nokia New smartphone with windows is getting Software updates. Through this update, the company is aiming at providing the owners of a Nokia Lumia 900, Lumia 710 and Lumia 610 with an enhanced experience on their devices.

The company was previously rumored to plan the release of these updates, and all is now official, courtesy of a post on Nokia Connects. There, the mobile phone maker announced that its devices would receive a series of new features through this update, and that the overall usability would be improved as well.

The main improvements packed in the new software include the following:
Lumia 900 version 2175.2101.8779.12201: Enhanced sensitivity for proximity sensor performance and improvement to your phone’s screen colours in low light conditions
Lumia 710 version 1600.3031.8779.12180: Internet sharing (Wi-Fi Hotspot) — Share your phone’s internet connection over Wi-Fi with up to five other devices or computers and Flip to silence — Silence incoming calls by turning your phone face down.
Lumia 610 version 1066.0000.8779.12201: Enhanced sensitivity for proximity sensor performance and improved sound level for alarm tone during voice calls.

According to the handset vendor, all owners of a Nokia Lumia 900, Nokia Lumia 710 or Nokia Lumia 610 will receive a notification on their devices as soon as the update is available for them.
To install the new software, they will need to connect their smartphones to a Windows PC or a Mac and launch the Zune software or the Windows Phone Connector for Mac, respectively. Convert sis.dm to sis In Symbian Phone. to do this we are using a software called dm2sis.This small app converts a .sis.dm/.sisx.dm files to a .sis/.sisx file. You get a .dm file when you download apps from ovi while using 3rd party browsers like uc browser.

Nokia Lumia 610 Officially Launched In India For 12,999

Karbonn mobile Roll out Jelly Bean in September

One of the cheapest mobile makers in india karbonn mobiles is now ready to give jelly bean devices to users in the end of september.

Indian company Karbonn has just announced the immediate availability of its first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet, the Smart Tab 1. In addition, the company launched three Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread smartphones.

Surprisingly Karbonn also announced plans to release at least a tablet and a smartphone powered by Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
According to the company, both devices will be released in India in September and will be very affordable in term of price.
Karbonn also mentioned that the smartphone will be known as A25 and will be equipped with a large 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display. Unfortunately, there are no details on the phone’s processor, but we guess it will be a dual-core CPU .
The tablet that the Indian company plans to launch in September will be called Karbonn ST4 and will be shipped with a 9.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that features Corning Gorilla Glass coating for extra protection.
For the time being, Karbonn confirmed the ST4 tablet will be released at an affordable price ofRs 11,000 (200 USD or 160 EUR), but this may besubject to change.
In fact everything related to these two upcoming devices may change, especially given the fact that Google has yet to release the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean source code.
Although the search giant explicitly stated that the Jelly Bean source code will be published in mid-July, anything can happen.
Moreover, Karbonn officials claim that the company will get to work as soon as the source code goes live, but there’s no telling how fast its engineers will be able put everything together.
However, if everything goes according to plan, Karbonn ST4 may be the first Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet launched in India, as Asus is rumored to release the Nexus 7 sometime in October. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.

Nokia Lumia 900 and 610 Available in India From July 6

Good News to Indian windows and Nokia lovers. Nokia Lumia 900 and 610 will start roll from July 6.

The folks at BGR India have been recently invited to a launch event that hints at a possible release of the Dark Knight-branded Lumia 900 as well.

Although both smartphones are expected to be announced on July 6, we suspect that the device will go on sale a bit later. Moreover, Nokia may launch other products as well, the folks at BGR India claim.
In this regard, word is that the Finnish company will also launch the Nokia Music store in India, which might come with a Mix Radio music streaming application fully compatible with Windows Phone platform.

An additional Mix Radio application for Belle-based Nokia 808 PureView smartphone may be released tomorrow as well, but there is no confirmation yet.
Obviously, there is no additional detail on the phones’ pricing options, but given the fact that neither will be offered by a regional carrier, we do not expect the Windows Phone devices to be subsidized.
Although both smartphones are powered by the Windows Phone platform, there are major hardware differences between the two.

The Lumia 900 is currently the most powerful smartphone launched by Nokia and comes equipped with a 1.4 GHz single-core processor and 512MB of RAM.
Moreover, the smartphone sports a large 4.3-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating. There’s also an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics.
Lumia 610 features a smaller 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display and packs a low-performance 800 MHz single-core processor, which is complemented by 512MB of RAM. On the back, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus and LED flash. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
